book COURSE

mastering the craft - Kelowna

Mastering the Craft is my version of scene study. A 5-week course that blends old-school techniques from Strasberg, Meisner, and Hagen with a new-school approach to deepen your craft. Actors will dive into text analysis, character development, and risk-taking, working on scenes from contemporary plays and paired with a partner. Night one will be devoted to a first-day exercise to push you out of your creative comfort zone. Each actor should have a monologue in their back pocket which will be applied during our warm-up. For new and seasoned actors ages 16+. Please note that refunds will not be given after the course application deadline has passed. Prior to that, any cancellations will require a $50 admin fee.
